Wouter leads Nomads. Prior to this, he spent 10+ years in venture as founding partner at Greyhound Capital, and as MD at Atomico leading value creation. Wouter is also the founder of The Big Search, Europe's leading executive search firm for technology.
Wouter has an MSc in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University
Barend is the founder of Hummingbird Ventures, Nomads and Magnificent Grants with over 20+ years of venture capital experience. He is involved with Showpad, Kraken, Automata and Pristyn Care.
Firat is the Managing Partner at Hummingbird Ventures. His current portfolio includes Aspire, BillionToOne, Brigit and Kernal Biologics. He previously worked with Frontier Car Group, Gram Games, Peak Games and Merlin prior to their acquisition.
Lukas is the CFO and General Counsel at Hummingbird and Nomads, overseeing fund management, portfolio investments and investor relations across the two.
Yavuzhan leads the investment activities as a part of the Nomads team. Prior to Hummingbird, he was an early-stage investor focused on CEE and Turkey. He also worked at Oliver Wyman where he advised financial institutions on strategy and risk.
He studied mathematics at Bogazici University and did his graduate studies in finance at the London School of Economics
Jordan leads the research activities as a part of the Nomads team. Prior to Hummingbird he founded Vineyard Holdings, a long-short public markets firm, and worked as a strategy consultant advising financial institutions on corporate development and digital strategy.
He studied Law and Economics at Stellenbosch University
Siya joined the Nomads team in 2022 to manage investor relations and fundraising. Prior to this, she was an early product manager at a venture-backed digital health startup in India.
Siya holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from New York University, where she spent four years across Abu Dhabi, New York City, and London. She is a classically trained singer, actor, and occasionally dabbles in documentary filmmaking.
